Comprising of eminent figures, such as the Duke of Wellington and King George III, and iconic symbols such as The Lion; the Prestige Collection emphasizes our esteemed heritage and inherently British influences. The Duke of Wellington known as the ‘Iron Duke’ conquered at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815, the year Royal Doulton was founded. In the limited edition figurine, the Duke is riding Copenhagen, his favorite mount, on which he rode into battle at Waterloo. Every piece will be painted by hand so the decorative detail on each sculpture in the edition of 50 will be unique.
